Deleting Customer Sales Ledger Accounts
Please take note that if you do decide to delete a Customer Sales Ledger Account remember this action will delete all the history associated with that account. You will not be able to access it again at a future date.
As customer accounts become out-of-date it is possible to remove them from the Sales Ledger.
You can only deleted a customer account when there are:

No current transactions on the account.

No historical transactions in the archive file.

No sales orders in the current order file (Either Live or Completed status).

No outstanding projects linked to the customer.
If you cannot select Delete on the customer account, there are still transactions attached to the account.
Even if you can select Delete you may still get the message ‘The account cannot be deleted as it is used by another module’
In this case check for any SOP Delivery Addresses linked to the account and delete these first.
Note: If the account is a head office account, with related branch accounts, only the head office account is removed. You will need to remove branch accounts independently
