Sage 200 Extra 2011
In accordance with the end of life support policy for Sage 200 software, Sage has announced that support for Sage 200 Extra 2011 will end on 31 October 2017 and will enter extended support from 31 October 2016. Extended support means that we will only provide technical support for this version - no legislation updates, patches or service packs will be released for this version.
Why Do Sage have this Policy?
It is standard industry practice for technology companies to withdraw support for older versions of software. Every year Sage invest in research and development to improve their software and services. Sage do this in line with regular customer feedback and to take into account new technology and changes in legislation. Sage believe that using the latest software is the best way to help you run your business effectively and by concentrating resources on looking forward, Sage can help your business move forward too. Sage also want to ensure that they continue to offer the best level of support for your software possible. Sage want you to be able to reach technical experts with the right level of knowledge to answer your questions quickly. This is only possible by having a robust and transparent end of life support policy.
